Air Britain Fly-in at North Weald Airfield 21/06/15
The 21st of June 2015 saw an Air Britain Fly-in at North Weald Airfield in Essex. This isn't my usual fayre, as it appeared most of the participants would come under the heading of General Aviation. Fortunately, there were one or two military visitors & for me, the highlight was the departure of the Hawker Hunter T.7, WV372/R, which left in the early afternoon to go and display at Weston-Super-Mare. The weather for the event wasn't too bad at all, just a tad breezy. I did gamble on there being something to interest me at the event & my luck was definitely in with the Hunter flying!
Other visitors included DH.82A Tiger Moth, Queen Bee, LF858 (G-BLUZ), Cessna 140, NC1872V, Aeronca L3B Grasshopper, 3-1923, Auster AOP6, TW641 (G-ATDN) & Beech 18, G-BKGM.
